By women for women
When you decide to put your health into my hands, you immediately become my number one priority. I will offer you personalised care, if you book an appointment with me, I guarantee that you see me.
I offer the full range of breast surgical procedures for the treatment of disease and the correction of asymmetry or volume loss following previous surgery. I work alongside microvascular surgeons for the provision of free-flap autologous procedures if required.
I work very closely with colleagues in the field of breast radiology, medical and clinical oncology.
I can offer an all female care pathway at every stage from investigation to treatment. As women ourselves, we know what women want and provide a service that we ourselves would expect.
I was appointed as a Consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 2016.
I am the Network Director for breast surgery at Barts heath and clinical lead on the St Bartholomew's site. I sit on the cancer and surgical boards and am pioneering the breast cancer centre project as part of the Barts 900 campaign
I completed my undergraduate training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004, before returning to undertake my doctoral thesis. My MD involved research into a novel magnetic technique for sentinel lymph node biopsy in breast cancer and was awarded in 2012. My higher surgical training was in the South East and Central London region. My postgraduate training was complimented with a training interface group (TIG) national oncoplastic fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Qualifications: MBBS, BSc, FRCS (Eng), EBSQ (European board certification) MD
GMC specialist register September 2016
I hold a post-graduate certificate in medical education and am faculty on a number of post-graduate courses including the Master’s degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.
I have a special interest in implant associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) and am collecting and managing the UK series of this rare disease. I continue to raise awareness of it including collaborating with the MHRA.
I undertake charity work in Ghana to raise awareness and train local teams to undertake oncoplastic breast surgery.
When time allows, I love to cycle, run, ski, climb and travel.
Problems with the breast may not present with symptoms for several months, even years. Regular breast screening can identify early changes within the breast which can be easily treated before they become a problem.
I offer a 'one stop' breast clinic assessment where you will be seen and assessed and be referred for any imaging that is required on that same appointment for full reassurance
Recognised by BUPA, AXA PPP, Simply Health, Exeter, Vitality, WPA & Aviva.
Your health is your priority. I am available to talk you through and answer any questions that you may have regarding a treatment plan already agreed with your primary care provider (whether for transfer of care or a standalone second opinion).
Please send a message, or call us for an appointment.
